Wall climbing robots perform non-destructive inspections on tanks, boilers, scrubbers, piping and more. Using specially-designed sensor payloads, the robots can inspect wall thickness, pitting, and many other forms of degradation. Our robots collect 1,000x more information with continuous data capture at speeds an average of 10x faster than previous methods.

From the contact points on the pipe to the heat transfer within Flex itself, it’s built to perform without degradation in data collection capability.
Flex houses 12 single-channel ultrasonic probes as a standard, with the ability to offer up to 18 probes for even greater data-coverage.

Different Gecko sleds allow the robot to take scans at three angles simultaneously for piping walls or corrugated features
Lighting and image capture mimics that of a manual visual inspection. At least one hi-definition photo is taken per foot.
The robot and data collection architecture is FAST, allowing most assets to be completely scanned in one shift.
Your asset will be scanned repeatedly over the years. Our localizations sensors permit us to accurately pin the data to your physical asset and provide valuable insight on thickness change.
Our closest spacing between ultrasonic transducers is ¼” (5mm). We can find defects and map out trouble areas on your asset to a high fidelity.
